Research Fellow / Postdoctoral Fellow
We welcome applicants with a Ph.D. degree in GIScience, Geomatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Transportation, Urban Informatics, Operations Research, or a closely related field.
Successful candidates will contribute to high-quality research, including methodology development, system implementation, data analysis, project execution, research publication, proposal writing, funding acquisition, and external collaboration.
-
Fully Supported Ph.D. Students
We are looking for outstanding Ph.D. applicants with strong academic backgrounds and clear research interests related to GeoAI, urban AI, spatial data science, transportation intelligence, spatial optimization, or scalable geospatial systems.
Fully supported Ph.D. positions include tuition coverage and research assistantship support. Applicants with strong programming skills, prior research experience, publications, or strong mathematical and computational training are especially encouraged to apply.
Potential Ph.D. students are encouraged to contact first before formal application to discuss research fit, project directions, and funding opportunities.
-
Research Assistant
Research Assistant positions are suitable for candidates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in GIScience, Geomatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Urban Studies, Transportation, Engineering, or a related field.
Research Assistants may contribute to data collection and processing, software development, spatial analysis, model implementation, visualization, literature review, experiment design, benchmark development, and research publication support.
These positions are especially suitable for candidates who wish to gain research experience before applying for Ph.D. programs.
Application Materials
Interested applicants are invited to send the following materials to Prof. Guo:
